Little did i know, my first year of college would bring about so many experiences, both positive and negative, that would forever change first couple of weeks were a complete party. For the entirety of my undergraduate career i had the distinct ability to successfully write research papers, critical essays and journal entries.

My parents endeavored to provide me with the mindset and resources to go beyond the superficial, searching for answers on my own. You could even take an array of classes that peak your interest and meet your wildest desires, of course all along with work hard towards that degree in the end which will help you ensure a job after you course, your parents always say they want their children to do better than they did; therefore going to college is not only seen as a fun place but as a place that teaches any individual responsibility and independence. But, now when at college we find out for ourselves that our meals aren’t always going to be cooked and ready for us and our laundry isn’t going to wash itself. I ended up dropping many classes my first year in college and failing one or two, and not having that great of a grade point average.

The idea of a college education is the standard path for a student after high school, but differences in opinion would question its value.
