Only this year did i learn the show was called ghostwriter and this demon spawn was named gooey gus. The point was that ghostwriter could only communicate via writing, so they had to have a way to write to it. A few even said they associated him with the entire show and remain freaked out by the mere concept of ghostwriter.

In to add this to watch is nothing more traumatic than tuning into your favorite show only to find the characters being stalked by an oozing slime monster, strangled by a puppet, or being picked off one by one by a masked killer. I think my mind had blocked him out during childhood and i projected my fears onto ghostwriter itself. That was the first episode i ever saw and that purple thing scared the shit out of me. The last scene i remember is gus somehow rowing a boat while his captor tried to chew herself free.
